Italy will be keen to maintain their winning run in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022 when they take on Brazil. The clash between these two teams in Phase 2 will be an intriguing affair for various reasons. Both sides are entering into this contest on the back of producing impressive displays in Phase 1. Hence, volleyball fans can expect to see an action-packed encounter on Tuesday. The ongoing tournament is hosted in the Netherlands and Poland this year. It started on 23rd September and will end on 15th October.
Placed in Pool A, Italy was unstoppable throughout Phase 1. The Europeans won all five matches they played in their group to accumulate a total of 15 points. Three of their five victories came by a 3-0 scoreline. On the other hand, Brazil also came up with a good showing in Pool D. The South American country won four of their five games to finish third in their group with 12 points. Brazil are heading into this contest on the back of a stunning 3-1 victory over their group leaders China.
